Early Career Research Fellowship – Seed Behaviour Prediction

A post-doctoral research opportunity (3 years, possibly extendable to 5) for a researcher with a strong background and interest in statistics and data-mining; applying these techniques and others to a variety of large, but sparse and biased datasets; aimed at improving seed collection management decision support; at the Millennium Seed Bank, based at Wakehurst Place in Sussex.

This is a re-advertisement of a position offered earlier this year; re-written to make clear that the research is expected to focus on the analysis of existing datasets to make predictions, rather than laboratory- or field-based generation of new data.
