Celebrating 25 Years of the International Society for Seed Science

Dear Members of the International Society for Seed Science,

It is with great joy that I announce a milestone for our society — the celebration of 25 years since the founding of the International Society for Seed Science (ISSS). Established in 1999, our society has been at the forefront of seed science, fostering research and collaboration across the globe. Over the past quarter-century, our collective efforts have significantly advanced the field of seed science. We are a vibrant community of researchers and teachers dedicated to understanding and improving seed biology and conservation.

To mark this momentous occasion, we are planning a series of festivities and events that will be announced in detail on our society’s website and through our social media outlets on X and LinkedIn. These celebrations will honor our past, celebrate our present, and look forward to a future filled with continued discovery and progress.
