Registration for ISSS 2020 now open

Registration for the 13th Triennial Conference of the ISSS is now open.

The meeting is organised by Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and will be held in Brighton, UK on 7-11 September 2020.

Deadline for abstract submission and early-bird registration is 31st May.

   Is there already a prediction if the meeting is going ahead (due to Coronavirus)? And is there an emergency plan in case it is cancelled? e.g. what happens to a registration fees that was already paid?

     We are planning to review the situation in early-May. Our preferred option is to postpone the meeting to 2021, in which case registration fees already received can be carried forward or there will be an option for a refund.
     One factor in our decision of whether to postpone will the numbers that have registered. If this is too low we will have to postpone regardless of the situation with coronavirus because it will not be financially viable for us to go ahead.
