Pre-registration for ISSS 2021
We are moving ahead with plans for the ISSS general meeting, which is due to take place in Brighton, UK from 9-13th August 2021. We are hoping that by then a face-to-face meeting will be possible, but we need to know how many people are likely to attend so that we can plan accordingly. Seed Functional Ecology Winter School 2021
The Seed Functional Ecology School will be held online from 25th to 29th January 2021. The winter school, which is sponsored by the ISSS, will provide an up-to-date theoretical background and the practical laboratory and statistical skills needed for the measurement, analysis and reporting of seed functional studies linked to three main functions: dispersal, persistence and establishment. New dates for ISSS general meeting: 9-13 August 2021 in Brighton, UK
The 13th Triennial Conference of the ISSS will now take place 9-13 August 2021 at the University of Sussex, Brighton, UK ‘Seed Innovation Systems for the 21st Century’ Organisers: Hugh Pritchard and Louise Colville, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew The science programme will cover six themes:
- Seed memory – how environment influences traits during development
- Seed life span – the science of maximising survival
- Seeds and society – local innovation systems and species added-value
- Seed form and function –
Australasian Seed Science Conference postponed

The Australasian Seed Science Conference (formerly National Seed Science Forum) will be on 05-09 April 2020, Australian National Botanic Gardens, Canberra, ACT, Australia. This is only a landing page for now but we will be adding more images from across the conference collaborators/partners/themes etc as well as logos and loads more information.
